2025 Season Recap

The inaugural season of the Sparta Homies delivered 16 weeks of chaos, clutch performances, and enough heartbreak to fill a postgame locker room. Eight managers entered; one emerged with the title. Flint Waterbois closed out the championship game in Week 16 with a dominant 154.76–100.92 performance over Wide Ends and Tight Receivers, capping a run that required clawing back from a 3–5 midseason record to lock up the top seed.

The season's defining moment came in Week 8, when Hard Count RYAN erupted for a 167.88-point masterpiece — the single highest score of the year — demolishing I Dont Have a Gambling Problem by over 100 points. On the opposite end, Week 3 produced the season's closest game: Flint Waterbois fell to Spartans by a razor-thin 0.14 points (98.18–98.32), a loss that could have derailed the eventual champion's playoff hopes.

Relentless bench finished third after a heartbreaking semifinal exit, while Spartans (who had the second-best regular season record at 9–5) fell in the semis as well. I Dont Have a Gambling Problem earned the consolation bracket's bottom seed with a 2–12 regular season record, though their 133.24-point Week 13 showing proved there was life in the roster all along.

The inaugural champions. Started 1–5 through Week 8 including consecutive losses to Show me your TDs and Spartans — then went 7–1 the rest of the way. Won the championship 154.76–100.92 to finish as the league's highest-scoring team.

The regular season's co-best record, and the strongest total PF among non-champions. Peaked in Weeks 10 and 13 (154.22 pts) but couldn't carry that form into the championship game, falling to Flint Waterbois by over 50 points.

8–6 RS · 3rd Place

Won 3rd place with a dominant 149.50-point Week 16 performance over Spartans. Defined by big swings — posted 155.18 in Week 10 and 135.64 in Week 3, but also went under 90 three times. Harold Fannin Jr. added late in the season via free agency.

Co-best regular season record but bowed out in the semis. Delivered the season's closest win — beating Flint Waterbois 98.32–98.18 in Week 3. Had a monster Week 4 (153.84 pts). Picked up Joe Burrow and Sam Darnold off waivers late in the season.

Couldn't find consistency — seven of their scores landed under 100 points. Did beat Flint Waterbois twice in the regular season (Weeks 1 and 8) and posted 137.82 in Week 9. Rebounded in the consolation bracket to finish 5th.

Started strong (124.26 in Week 1) and finished with a positive point differential, but missed the championship bracket. Season-high 134.74 in Week 14. Picked up the Eagles DST off waivers in December as a late-season add.

Hard Count RYAN

7–7 RS · 7th Place

Owner of the season's single highest score — 167.88 points in Week 8. Had four 130+ point games. But went ice cold at exactly the wrong times, dropping their last two regular season games to miss the championship bracket. Jordan Love added late for Caleb Williams.

The league's most difficult schedule by PA (1,947 points scored against). Hit 133.24 in Week 13 but was let down by a season-low 67.46 in Week 8 against Hard Count RYAN's 167-point eruption. Finished last but not without fight.
